Aspects and Visions

As with most camera users who seek public viewership, my photographs are inspired by the every day. They seek to isolate semiotic textures and disembodied ruptures of experience. They seek to privilege moments when the play of visual data is allowed to surface.

These moments are usually mundane and fleeting, but the invention of the camera lends us to the opportunity to capture and reconfigure them. The results can often be strange and alienating – but occasionally also beautiful.

I hope to have ensnared – of only for a moment – some aspects and visions in my search for the beautiful here.
